How to open a jammed CD/DVD drive

Most of us PC and Laptop users get easily frustated when the CD/DVD drive stops responding due to either overuse or system crash or even worse, a jammed CD/DVD drive !

Fortunately, there is an easy way to open a Jammed CD/DVD drive. First of all you need 3 things:

1.  Stuck CD/DVD drive (you know how it looks)
2.  The paper clip
3. Shutdown the PC. (Most Important)

Once we're done with this, we're ready to go.

Step 1: Straighten out one leg of paper clip
This is how we do it:

This is done so that we can insert it in the tiny hole that is on the CD/DVD drive. You need to get it straight.

Step 2: Find the CD/DVD eject pin hole
The CD/DVD eject pin hole is usually placed right below the CD/DVD tray as the one shown below:

Step 3:Insert the straightened paper clip into the eject pin hole
As soon as Steps 1 and 2 are completed, insert the paper clip into the hole and the CD/DVD tray pops out

 Note:
The eject pin hole may not be found on some older macbooks

This technique is reported to save users from a lot of time (and losing their jobs).
