Ouya - The Droid Console

Perhaps you've already heard of it . OUYA was doing quite the rounds in the news until it surfaced up at CES 2013. This android based device has gained much attention from the community and continues to gain popularity and interest.

OUYA packs in quite a punch. It has a  Quad Core Cortex A9, I gig RAM, and runs on android jelly bean 4.1. As far connectivity is concerned, you can hook it up to a TV and play the games you want and it sports a USB 3.0 port as well as micro USB port (preferrably for connecting to PC) .
Not bad for a kickstarter project

Concerning data connectivity, it sports a WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 as well as an Ethernet port . (Hmm...plenty of options I see here )

Unboxing reveals a more deeper detail about the OUYA.

As they say ...KISS (keep it simple stupid)

For $99 , you get OUYA box, 2 joysticks , a micro usb cable , adapter and a display cable to hook up to your TV for more action .

But the question remains.....is it worth the money ? Only one way to find out.
